This module contains questions about government policies, programmes and strategies relating to population growth, age structure and the spatial distribution of the population, giving special emphasis to population ageing and urbanization. Population ageing refers to an upward shift in the distribution of population by age, which is often measured by an increase in the number of persons aged 65 years or older relative to the total population. Urbanization refers to an increase in the percentage of total population living in urban areas.
